Andrew has a lifetime’s experience of the markets – good and bad.  He has an unshakable faith in the virtues of well managed equity funds to deliver good investment returns for clients over the long term. He is multi-qualified in investment, financial planning and taxation. Andrew was formerly Senior Partner of Andrew Hamilton & Co, Chartered Accountants. Andrew’s interests outside work include politics, the countryside, music and all sports.

Victoria Mann, Dip PFS, Director

Victoria is a qualified financial planner. She has worked for the company since its formation in 2006. Victoria’s interests outside work include National Hunt Racing.

Peter RintoulPeter Rintoul (Consultant)

Peter qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Glasgow. He has had a lifetime’s experience as an Investment Manager, primarily with Gartmore where he ended up as head of their Investment Trust and Insurance Company teams. Peter returned to Scotland in 1997 to set up the private Client investment department of Turcan Connell. This he did successfully, after which he spent five years at Charlotte Square Investment Managers.

Simon Akroyd

Simon has 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry working at Cazenove & Co, Aberdeen Asset Management and New Star where he headed up the Private Client Discretionary Management department. Whilst there, he began to see the opportunities for good financial and tax planning. In 2011 he completed the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. He brings a strong investment background complemented by his ability to advise on pensions, IHT planning and business protection. Simon is part of the Thomson Tyndall team and sits on their Management Committee and their Asset Allocation and Risk Committee. Simon’s outside interests include a love of theatre, travelling and Burmese contemporary art.

Michael Dunglass

Michael’s investment career began in 2012 with Rothschild Wealth Management in London before moving to work with institutional and sovereign clients at BNP Paribas Asset Management. He is greatly looking forward to returning to Scotland, where he grew up and to Edinburgh, where he read politics at Edinburgh University. Michael’s interests outside work include the countryside and all sports.

Having recently graduated from Heriot-Watt University with a first in Maths, Loren joined Hamilton Financial as a Financial Planning Apprentice, Her interests outside work include horse riding and baking.
